Owl PU Mastic

It is a fast curing joint sealant suitable as a general adhesive when applying the Owl Lava20 system.

Best Uses:

Owl Lava20 PU Mastic is a fast-curing joint sealant, a universal adhesive that has been specially formulated to contain both PU and silylated PU. Due to the nature of the sealant’s composition, it has the best properties of both technologies. The material has been modified to provide better thixotropic properties.

• Excellent adhesion to almost any type of surface, with or without the use of special primers
• Excellent extrusion, tooling and storage stability over a wide range of climatic conditions
• Excellent chemical resistance, suitable for sealing joints in swimming pools and chemically treated water
• Resistant to microorganisms and fungi
• Application possible in immersion in water
• Excellent heat resistance, suitable for use in locations exposed to temperatures> 60 ° C
• Cold resistance: The packing remains flexible even down to -40ºC.

Owl Lava20 PU Mastic cures quickly in reaction with atmospheric moisture, creating a sealant with excellent early adhesion, even on substrates that have traditionally been a problem for PU sealants such as aluminum, steel, polycarbonate, etc.
